Dwayne Hajek

Dwayne Hajek is a lifelong resident of the Waller area. He has served as a city councilman from 2004-2006, at which point he was then elected as the Mayor of Waller where he served 2 years. Dwayne is a State Certified Firefighter and has been with the Waller Volunteer Fire Department for 27 years and is currently the Assistant Chief and Vice president. He has been employed with Baker Hughes for 28 years, 14 of those years have been spent in management. Dwayne is a life-long member of St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church, where he currently serves as Eucharistic minister and is on the welcoming committee. He has 3 loving children, and 3 adorable grandchildren. Dwayne is and always has been involved in the community. This has been his home his entire life and he takes full pride in its future and in the futures of the people of Waller.
