General Election Information 2025
Election Day will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Waller County will be conducting the elections. The City of Waller, City Secretary’s office will be available by phone and email if you have any questions.

Waller is a General Law Type "A" city and has five Council members that serve at Large for the City and one Mayor. Terms are for two years.
Qualified electors will be electing 3 offices, 3 City Council at large for the City of Waller in May of 2025.
Election 2025
- Candidate Packets for the May 2025 General Election are available to be picked up at the City Secretary's office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday . The offices of City Council will appear on this Ballot.
- Filings will be accepted during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and there is no fee to file.
- Registered voters within the City of Waller can vote during Early Voting or on Election Day.
- The City Secretary's Office is responsible for overseeing municipal elections including serving as contract administrator for elections services through Waller County.
- The City Secretary's Office will be receiving all required candidate filings (including campaign finance reports), and conducting a drawing for the order in which names will appear on the ballot.
- Early Voting will be from Tuesday, April 22, 2025 - Tuesday April 29, 2025.
- General Elections are held on the first Saturday of each May.
