Municipal Court

The mission of the Waller Municipal Court is to provide a forum for citizens to have their matters heard in a fair, efficient, convenient, and timely manner of misdemeanor offenses committed and filed in the City of Waller.  Each case that is filed in the Waller Municipal Court is considered an individual case and is adjudicated in that manner.  The Court considers each case with the utmost fairness and equality.

If you have been charged with an offense which is within the jurisdiction of the City of Waller Municipal Court, you must make an appearance in person or by mail (post-mark) on or before the appearance date on the ticket.  A telephone call does not constitute an appearance.

Defensive driving certificates or driving records must be delivered by regular mail or delivered in person to the City of Waller Municipal Court. There is an after-hours drop box for your convenience.


The Waller Municipal Court Judge and Clerks of the Court are not allowed to give legal advice. You are urged to review the applicable laws and to consult an attorney of your choice for further information or answers to specific legal questions.

Attention: If you fail to appear in court as required by law, you may be denied the renewal of your Drivers License and assessed an additional fee.

If you wish to appear in person, or if you wish to provide extenuating circumstances for the Judge to consider arraignments are held every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

If you wish to take care your citation by mail you may sign the back of the citation or courtesy form and enter a plea.
